EasyTRX - external GPS antenna for TRX2-TRX3S

We already have a separate GPS antenna in our range for use on steel ships. This GPS antenna can be placed under a polyester deck. This antenna must not be placed in the direct vicinity of a Radar antenna. If for whatever reason the GPS reception of the internal GPS antenna does not work, an external GPS antenna can still be connected. The internal GPS antenna of the EasyTRX3S will be switched off by connecting the external GPS antenna.

NB Every AIS transponder must always be equipped with its own GPS antenna. Unfortunately, the GPS antenna already installed on board cannot (never) be used. The reason for this is that all AIS transponders run on the same time. This is the GPS time (atomic time). Delay in this is not permitted.

The GPS antenna provides raw data, not NMEA data.
